We have recently been to the above property and found that the existing Back Flow Prevention device does not comply with the codes of practice. As per code the valve is required to have a clearance of 300mm under the valve to make this comply.
We will carry out the following:
* Organise and co ordinate a time to carry out the works with the occupants to have the least amount of impact on them.
* Isolate water to property.
* Alter the pipework to make good the connection to accommodate the valve to comply with height.
* Turn water on and test.
* Clean up rubbish.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
