We have recently attended the above property and have identified the box gutter to be in fair condition but there are true signs of surface rust coming though. As a precaution to attempt to get longer life out of the existing box gutter we propose to apply a membrane on the inside of the gutter.
We will carry out the following:
* Sweep the gutter free of dust.
* Wire brush where necessary to etch and prepare metal.
* Apply a coat of bitumen based seater to the gutter.
* Report back if during the cleaning process we expose the condition to be in poorer than expected.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
Note: We will prep and seal the entire gutter to prolong the life of the gutter.
