We have recently been asked to attend site to investigate an issue with the drainage. Along with a CCTV camera inspection we have identified that there was a problem with the drainage.
The line is beyond repair and should be excavated and repaired as it will continue to back up in the future. The section of drainage that we can clearly identify requires replacement. We note the affected section of the drainage to be under the garden area and bitumen on site.
We will run the CCTV camera again at no charge to clearly identify any further issues within the line, if necessary.
We will carry out the following:
Repair in Garden Area
* Spot dig the affected area.
* Cut the section of old earthenware drainage out and replace with new PVC pipework.
* Raise an inspection to ground level and finish with concrete.
* Back fill and consolidate ground making good the garden area.
Repair in Pebblecrete
* Road Saw the existing pebblecrete as needed
* Jack hammer the pebblecrete out as needed
* Excavate the ground to expose the damaged pipe work.
* Remove the old earthenware drainage and replace with PVC pipework, raising 1 x section up to ground level to finish with 1 x bolted trap screw for access.
* Back fill and consolidate the ground.
* Drill starter bars into existing concrete if required.
* Re-concrete and finish with trowel finish.
* Re-surface the pebblecrete; please note that it is very difficult to match the path 100%.
* Remove any rubbish from site.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
