We have recently been engaged to attend to the above property after hours as an emergency call out. Upon arrival we identified that the water meter was in poor condition and in need of repair. The inlet service was damaged and we were required to freeze the inlet which resulted in having the ability to rectify the damaged meter.
We carried out the following:
* Isolated the water as best as possible
* Drained out pressure
* Excavated around water meter and exposed the affected pipework
* Set up for freeze kit on pipework and freeze when needed
* Install the new propped inlet valve and pipework
* Re-establish meter and outlet pipework
* Melt freeze and test as needed
* Confirm no leaks and back fill to make good
