We have recently been engaged to attend to the above property after hours as an emergency call out. Upon arrival we identified there to be a water leak present which was affecting the property coming out at the of the property. We found a section of pipework which was leaking water and required immediate attention. In this instance we identified the leak to be gal pipework and was rusted out in a section. We will make good the repair to the immediate section of gal pipework and replace it with new pipework. We are required to make connection to the nearest threaded fitting and then convert materials to copper to make good.
We carried out the following:
* Isolated the water
* Replace the affected section of pipework
* Allow to cool and reinstate water
* Cut through water service
* Undo the sections of gal to expose the next best gal thread
* Supply & install copper as needed to be in place in this situation
* Weld up as necessary
* Turn water on
* Test and commission service
