We have recently been asked to attend the above site and investigate the water leaking around the shower.
We carried out the following tests.
* Pressure tested the hot and cold water service which proved to pass test.
* Visual inspections of the taps and noted no leaks around the spindles.
* Dye tested and static tested the recess and could not simulate the leak.
* Pressure tested the shower breach and was able to get the copper pipe work behind the wall the leak.
We are required to chase the wall and expose the affected section of pipe work and supply and install new. We will then test the shower again before reinstating the tiles.
