We were recently engaged to attend the above property and assess the problem with the control valve.
Upon inspection we identified that the top assembly on the control valve to be faulty and required replacement.
We isolated the cold water supply to the premises, drained the pressure from the service as needed and removed the old faulty top assembly. We then supplied and installed 1 x new top assembly in its place with a new washer.
We reinstated the water supply and found to test all ok.
