We have recently been engaged to attend to the above property after hours as an emergency call out. Due to the danger of a gas leak we attended site with urgency to assess the issue. Upon our inspection we identified the smell of the gas to be localised in the We found a section of pipework which was leaking gas and required immediate attention. In this instance we identified that the gas service was gal pipework and was beyond repair. We will need to rerun a substantial amount of the gas service to convert from gal to new pipework to comply and bypass the gas leak. We managed to bypass the entire service making good connections to existing droppers which are fed from under the house.
