We have recently been asked to carry out a visual audit on the above complex due to concerns that the water bill is excessive and there may be a leak within the complex.
We propose to carry out the following:
* Obtain all the units contact details; confirm a date for availability and make contact for access. (Note: a notice from the strata will assure occupants to remain home on this day.)
* Enter each unit and carry out a visual inspection of the unit’s fixtures, e.g. tapware, toilet, etc. sinks and toilets. This will assure that no water is continually being wasted.
* We will then complete a report and course of action per unit to give a solution where needed.
* A visual audit of the common garden taps and external pipework will also be carried out. If we find any problems a solution will be provided.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
Please note: If this exercise proves to be unsuccessful with finding wasted water a series of pressure tests may need to be carried out.
