We have recently been asked to provide a quotation for investigation on the mould problem at the above property. To quote this is a difficult process, but we can attend and carry out the following scope of works:
This quote is to:
* Have a visual inspection of the mould condition within the property.
* Assess the amount of ventilation within the property as far as window openings and the ability for air movement.
* Check measure the floor height inside compared to the ground height outside to confirm if the difference can be causing issues with rising damp in the property.
* Where possible go under the property within the most affected are and confirm if there is moisture present.
* Dig around in the ground at side where possible to confirm if the soil is moist or not.
* Confirm if surrounding trees are impairing the sun from entering the property.
* Provide a detailed report of our findings along with recommendations required to help rectify the mould problem. A report like this can be upwards of 1 hour onsite but worth getting the report.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
