We were recently engaged to attend the above property and assess the problem with the floor waste. Upon inspection we were able to identify that this style of floor waste constantly requires to be topped up with water. An alternative is to install a Grate Mate; this is a rubber insert that goes into the floor waste which allows water to drain but no smell from the sewer to come back into the property.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
