We have recently been asked to attend site to investigate an issue with the drainage. Along with a CCTV camera inspection we have identified that there was a problem with the It was obvious that the drainage has within the line and you will not be able to maintain this line for much longer. Due to the depth and location of the affected section of pipework we believe the best solution would be to install a patch within the line to make good the broken pipe.
We require access to both upstream and downstream of the affected area to pull the patch into place. Currently we have no access. We believe the most economical thing to do would be to remove the toilet pan and gain access to the drainage from this point.
We note in some instances the toilet pan on removal can break.
Below is a provision in case this was to happen.
We will carry out the following:
* Carry out spot dig to gain access into the
* Remove the toilet pan to gain access to drainage.
* Excavate and cut in an inspection opening into the pipework.
* Confirm access into pipework and set up in a safe area.
* CCTV camera line to confirm measurements of the problem.
* Clean the existing pipework in preparation for the patch.
* Carry out works needed to assure the patch is in the correct location.
* Inflate packer with the patch and leave in position for the appropriate amount of time.
* Deflate packer and double check with CCTV camera the patch is in good condition.
* Install existing pan back and test for leak.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE if the toilet pan is to break on removal as above, further costs may be occurred to supply and install a new pan.

* If the patch is under concrete it is less disruption to the concrete and maintains the integrity of the concrete and aesthetics of the property.
