We have recently been asked to attend site to investigate an issue with the drainage. Along with a CCTV camera inspection we have identified that there was a problem with the drainage.
The line is beyond repair and should be excavated and repaired as it will continue to back up in the future. The section of drainage that we can clearly identify requires replacement. We note the affected section of the drainage to be under the bitumen and pavers on site.
We will run the CCTV camera again at no charge to clearly identify any further issues within the line, if necessary.
We will carry out the following:
Repair in Bitumen
* Road Saw the existing bitumen as needed
* Excavate the ground to expose the damaged pipe work.
* Remove the old earthenware drainage and replace with PVC pipework, raising 1 x section up to ground level to finish with 1 x bolted trap screw for access.
* Back fill and consolidate the ground.
* Patch the bitumen
Repair in Pavers
* Remove the pavers as needed
* Excavate the ground to expose the damaged pipe work.
* Remove the old earthenware drainage and replace with PVC pipework, raising 1 x section up to ground level to finish with 1 x bolted trap screw for access.
* Back fill and consolidate the ground.
* Re-install the removed pavers with sand to existing levels.
* Remove any rubbish from site.
All works will be carried out to Australian Standards AS3500 and will be within OH&S Guidelines.
Please note:
No allowances have been made for any damages to underground services however; every care will be taken whilst on site.
We have also not allowed to remove concrete from under the pavers if it is present.
