Account for works on site.
We have recently been asked to attend the above site and investigate the water leaking around the shower.
We carried out the following tests.
* Pressure tested the hot and cold water service which proved to pass test.
* Visual inspections of the taps and noted no leaks around the spindles.
* Dye tested and static tested the recess and could not simulate the leak.
* Pressure tested the shower breach and was able to get the copper pipe work behind the wall the leak.
We identified that the recess tee behind the wall is leaking and the pressure dropped. Upon receiving permission we carried out the following:
* Chased out the existing shower tiles.
* Exposed the section of affected pipe work.
* Cut out the affected section of pipe work and welded a new section in place.
* Reinstated the water supply and tested.
* Patched the wall as needed.
We tested the shower again and found all okay. Works completed.
